you live in an area that offers no Ving Tsun Kung Fu, and you would
like to learn, I am now offering a home study course. In the privacy
of your own home, you and a friend/s can learn this effective Martial
Art. The course is taught in the same order and set up for you to
learn just as if you were in my class. It is a very structured and
detailed course allowing you to learn easily, providing that you
train consistently. There is Certification and Ranking, where upon
you will receive a Certificate signed and chopped by me. Once you
reach the intermediate stage, you will be required to send a video
of yourself performing the forms and drills. After the third form
is completed, you must obtain a Muk Yan Jong (wooden man), so that
you can learn that form. If you have no resource for this training
device, this may be arranged through me. There is always an opportunity

LEVELS
This
is a certification course. You must progress from level 1-4 in that
order. I will not sell the course out of sequence, it is imperative
that a student progress in this order for their benefit and understanding.
The advance material will only be as good as your fundementals.
Now, for those of you that already know Ving Tsun and the forms
from another family, and would like to be certified through me,
I do offer videos/DVD's of the forms just for this circumstance.

Level
1 - SIU NIM TAO - (LITTLE IDEA)
This
level consists of 3 tapes. The course teaches the 1st form which
is broken down into 3 sections. In Tape 1, the form is demonstrated
by Sifu Darrell both front and side view. It is then performed by
a student where Sifu Darrell covers all of the detailed fine points
of the form for each movement. Tape 2 contains the exercises and
2 man drills that are conducted at the school. The drills are taught
in conjunction with the sections of the 1st form. The drills become
more complicated as you progress in the 1st form. Pratical application
from the form are also demonstrated. This tape will lead you to
Luk Sao (rolling hands). Tape 3 consists of Luk Sao (rolling hands),
Jip Sao (catching hands), Jow Sao (runing hands), and Luk Sao Chek
Jung (rolling hands feel space shoot forward). This course must
be completed prior to moving on to Level 2, at a minimum time spent
on level 1 of 6 months. $175.00

Level
2 - CHUM KIU - (SEARCHING BRIDGE)
In
tape 1, the second form Chum Kiu is taught in 3 sections and is
demonstrated by Sifu Darrell both front and side view. It is then
performed by a student where Sifu Darrell covers the fine points
of each movement. In tape 2, the exercises and drills associated
with each section of the form are taught, as well as some pratical
applications from the form. In tape 3, Basic Chi Gerk (sticking
Legs) drills are taught, as well as introduction to full fledge
Chi Sao (sticking hands) where techniques are introduced. This course
must be completed with a minimum of 6 months spent on level 2 prior
to moving on to level 3. Not complete, Form DVD available only.

Level
3 - BIU JEE (SHOOTING FINGERS)
The
form Biu Jee is taught in 3 sections and is demonstrated by Sifu
Darrell both front and side view. It is then performed by a student
and the detailed fine points of each movement is covered by Sifu
Darrell. In tape 2, the exercises and drills that are associated
with each section of the form are taught, as well as preparation
drills for the Muk Yan Jong, as well as Staff drills. Tape 3 consists
of full fledge Chi Gerk (sticking legs), Chum Kiu Sao (long arm
chi sao), and pratical application from movements of the form. This
course must be completed with a minimum time spent of 9 months prior
to moving on to the 4th level. No complete. Form DVD available only.

Level
4 - MUK YAN JONG - (WOODEN MAN POST)
Muk
Yan Jong form is taught in 10 sections. In tape 1, Sifu Darrell
demonstrates both from the side and from a birds eye view. In tape
2, the first 5 Sections are demonstrated by a student with Sifu
Darrell explaining the fine points of each movement. In tape 3,
the final 5 sections are demonstrated by a student. This course
must be completed with a minimum time spent of 12 months prior to
advancing to the 1st degree Black Sash. Not complete. Form DVD available only.

Weapon
sets will be discussed upon completion of the Muk Yan Jong. My preference
is to personally instruct and arrangememnts would be made in this
regard.
